Christmas Creative Wagashi Workshop (Beginner) Workshop by Overseas Creative Wagashi Instructor Jen Ying
Our overseas guest instructor, Jen Ying(@notjustacake with about 35K followers on Facebook & @notjust_acake on Instagram), has captivated many with her creative and adorable Wagashi designs. Instructor Jen Ying is returning to teach CNY Creative Wagashi workshops at ArtZ Baking & Culinary Singapore in December 2022.
Learning Points:
- Demonstration on Shioran, Gyuhi, Nerikiri from scratch
- Colour Mixing & Toning
- Learn the skills & techniques of making Wagashi from scratch
- Learn how to shape and create more than 8 Wagashi Designs, which cover a range of Wagashi techniques. Students will create 8 different designs to bring home
- Q&A Session
- All materials & tools will be provided for Class Use

Level: Beginners to Intermediate. Suitable for Beginners, no cooking & baking experience required
- Students will bring home 1 box of 8 self-created Wagashi, 1 FOC Wagashi Triangle Wood tool and detailed Recipe
- Students may purchase certain Wagashi tools and bean flour during our workshops for home practice.

Jen Ying is a talented and creative Wagashi Instructor who has captivated many with her beautifully shaped and creative wagashi designs. Besides teaching creative Wagashi workshops, Jen Ying is highly sought after for her creative Wagashi pre-orders for all occasions.
Registration Process
- Kindly confirm with Sharon via WhatsApp at +65-9688 2777 if there are still available seats for the workshop before proceeding with the online registration.
- Complete the registration online by clicking “Add to Cart”, followed by “View Cart”, then “Proceed to Checkout”. Complete your particulars & add remarks in the section “Order Notes (optional)” eg Workshop Date / Time (if more than 1 option is available), Account Holder Name (if different from the name you registered for the class) and your Friend’s name & hp number if you are signing up for others.
- Please make Payment via Paynow / Paylah / Bank Transfer etc. with remarks during transfer your Name (if your account holder name is different from the name you registered for the class), Order number & Class Date.
- Important Step: Whatsapp Sharon at +6596882777 with a screenshot of payment receipt & Online Order # and advise participant’s mobile number (if you are making payment on behalf of others).
- Once payment & payment receipt has been sent, your booking is confirmed and we will reserve a seat(s) for you.
- Two days before the workshop, we will send out reminder WhatsApp messages, address, map, directions & a list of things to take note of to all paid participants.
