Japanese Yakitori, Chawanmushi & Miso Soup Workshop by Instructor Sharon

(Suitable for Kids / Parent-Child / Family & Friends / Single Participants / Hens’ Parties / Small Parties / Teambonding – Studio / Online Live Class)

Workshop Content:

1. Demo by Instructor, followed by Hands-on Sessions
2. Japanese Yakitori
   i) Chicken Boneless Legs with Leeks
   ii) Shiitake Mushrooms

iii) King Oyster Mushrooms

iv) How to prepare Japanese Yakitori Marinade (Demo). One portion of marinade will be prepared 1 night in advance for chicken marination.

v) Participants will learn how to prepare & marinate chicken pieces, prepare & marinate 2 types of mushrooms.

vi) Tips will be shared to use other suitable meats & vegetables for Yakitori

3. How to make smooth & silky Chawanmushi (Semi-Hands-on / small group work) – Recipe adapted from ex-Shangri-La Hotel Japanese Chef

4. How to make a quick & simple miso soup  – a quick fix soup from scratch (Semi-Hands-on / small group work)

Hands-on Workshop Fees: $148 / pax or $168 / 1 parent-child pair (Limited Time Offer)

(Usual Fees: $158 / pax or $178 / 1 parent-child pair)

 

Minimum Age: 6 years & Above (Young children need to be able to focus with parent’s supervision / assistance).  Kids working on their own need to be independent.

 

Private Workshop (On Request / Advance Notice): min 3 pax (subject to Studio & Instructor’s availability)

*** Each Participant / Parent-child Pair will consume the Chawanmushi in class, unless they bring along ceramic containers to store their chawanmushi home.

Registration Process

1. Complete the registration online by clicking “Add to Cart”, followed by “View Cart”, then “Proceed to Checkout”. Complete your particulars & add remarks in the section “Order notes (optional)” eg workshop date / time and your friend’s name & hp number if you are signing up for others.
2. Please make Payment via Paynow / Paylah / Bank Transfer etc. with remarks during transfer your name & Class name.
3. Important Step: Whatsapp Sharon at +6596882777 with a screenshot of payment receipt & Online Order # and advise participant’s mobile number (if you are making payment on behalf of others).
4. Two days before the workshop, we will send out reminder WhatsApp messages, address, map, directions & a list of things to take note of to all paid participants.
