🎉Quiche Lorraine & Chicken Pot Pie – European Culinary Workshop (Halal) 🎉 by Le Cordon Bleu-trained Chef Instructor Andrew Loh

Overview

Participants will learn the basics of making a pie dough from scratch and a classic French dish known as Quiche Lorraine. They will also learn how to transform a simple pie dough to create many other pies like Chicken Pot Pie.  Participants will also learn how to make a quick and easy salad and simple knife skills.

Level: Beginner

Age Limit: Teens & Adults (12 years & above)

 

What will be covered in this workshop:

1. Halal Quiche Lorraine (Hands-on)

  • Turkey Bacon and Cheese Quiche (in the event, we cannot source for Turkey Bacon, we will substitute with Beef Bacon)

2. Halal Chicken Pot Pie (Demo)

3. Quick & Easy Salad (Demo)

4. Simple Knife Skills – Techniques & Tips (Hands-on)

Nothing beats learning directly from an experienced chef who has both professional culinary and patisserie training from Le Cordon Bleu London, coupled with experience running a restaurant In UK.  More so for those who has zero or little culinary experience, you will benefit greatly from learning the basics and culinary knowledge from our highly knowledgeable chef.

Chef Instructor Bio – Andrew Loh:

Chef Andrew started learning from his mum in the kitchen at a young age of 15. The wonders of cooking attracted Chef Andrew in a way beyond his imagination.

After he had finished his studies in the United States, Chef Andrew began his career in the finance industry. Soon after, he got an offer from Le Cordon Bleu London to commence professional culinary and pastries training. He later started up and ran his restaurant besides training his chefs in London which further honed his culinary and pastries skills in recent years, before returning to Singapore.

Chef Andrew is passionate about teaching and one of his aspirations is to impart his culinary knowledge and skills to others, especially the next generation to produce better food and reduce food wastage. He has often been described as a very caring and patient instructor to ensure his students derive the most knowledge and skills from his workshops. He hopes that more people will get into the kitchen to whip up pastries and cuisine to have fun, de-stress and make delicious meals for their loved ones.

  1. Kindly confirm with Sharon via WhatsApp at +65-9688 2777 if there are still available seats for the workshop before proceeding with the online registration.
  2. Complete the registration online by clicking “Add to Cart”, followed by “View Cart”, then “Proceed to Checkout”. Complete your particulars & add remarks in the section “Order Notes (optional)” eg Workshop Date / Time (if more than 1 option is available), Account Holder Name (if different from the name you registered for the class) and your Friend’s name & hp number if you are signing up for others.
  3. Please make Payment via Paynow / Paylah / Bank Transfer etc. with remarks during transfer your Name (if your account holder name is different from the name you registered for the class), Order number & Class Date.
  4. Important Step: Whatsapp Sharon at +6596882777 with a screenshot of payment receipt & Online Order # and advise participant’s mobile number (if you are making payment on behalf of others).
  5. Once payment & payment receipt have been sent, your booking is confirmed and we will reserve a seat(s) for you.
  6. Two days before the workshop, we will send out reminder WhatsApp messages, address, map, directions & a list of things to take note of to all paid participants.
